寒河江市役所ー田舎にある歴史的・近代的建造物ー

寒河江市役所は、市役所としては大変モダンなデザインであり、1967年に黒川紀章(1934-2007)によって設計されました。革新的で象徴的なこの建物は、空気に浮かんでいるように見えます。
そしてこの建物の中では、岡本太郎(1911-1996)によって作成されたオブジェを見て触れることもできるんです。

Sagae City Hall -Historic and Modern Architecture in the local city-

This Sagae city hall is designed in 1967 by Kisho Kurokawa(黒川紀章、1934-2007), one of the most famous Japanese architects.You may think this building is floating in the air. Innovative and symbolic.
Also, inside this building, you can see and touch very precious works by Taro Okamoto(岡本太郎、1911-1996). Worth visiting!
